There are people of French and Spanish descent, yes. There are also Arabs, Jews many types of Berber who make up the Moroccan population. You will see all skin colors in Morocco and even a lot of red hair. It's a wonderfully diverse country.

To go further about the US and using that as an analogy...
There is New Orleans which is primarily French... also the northern most parts of the Eastern US (Maine) can also be found French Canadian.... In contrast... Florida is very much Spanish; both because of the colonization that occured there and the fact that it is closest to Puerto Rico and Cuba.
Now... in Morocco... you have cities that are to this day still part of Spain, making them the ONLY African nation part of the EU (European Union). The colonization by the French is evident in that most Moroccans speak both French and Arabic... go south into Marrakech and further south into the dessert and you will see the Berber roots that have held off invasions for centuries.
Other remnants of colonization by other nations are ancient Roman columns and other contries' artifacts.

I am sure there is some French and Spanish blood here. There was a thriving Jewish community at one time. However, I think of the Moroccans as being Arabs and Berbers. And, this is very inter-mixed today.

Well Spain did Colonise Equatorial Guinea, they also still have two territories in Morocco, Mellila and Ceuta. Basically the moors were still quite powerful in the 1500's, and although Spain could have conquered them, the discovery of the new world sidetracked them. It was a potentially more profitable option to colonise the Americas, along with the Portuguese.

No, it doesn't. The US was once colonized by England, Spain and France, yet no one would say that this country is part any of these three.
India was a British Colony and Hong Kong was also. So the answer is no.

There is more Arab blood in Europe than there is in Morocco.
You can notice this in countries like Portugal, Spain, and Italy. Moroccans were africans descent, they are not black because they were mixed with phoenicians, bizentinians, Ottomans, Arabs, and other past civilizations. But certainly not French or Spanish.
