Were travelling with first choice in May 07 to Agadir, for 1 week. We wish to take a few excursions, maybe full day or just a few hrs, whats there to see?

How do we book? Im assuming we can book with First choice direct? Cant see anything on their website.

A "special" nut or seed that is in Morocco. It is round and smooth like a buckeye. It is called Gouza in morocco, anyone know what it is here, or if it is available?

I heard that they are filming a movie based on the TV series 24. Also heard that part of the filming will be in Morocco. I'm assuming that it will be in Ouarzazate but has anyone heard of when this might take place??? I'm thinking that maybe some extras in the region may have heard something.

HAve you ever been to morocco?
I have booked flights only in and out of marrakesh, going in august, and would like to know the best places to go and ways to get around. I'm on a budget... And want to see a wide variety of places (There for two weeks, and thinking of 3-4 days in 3-4 places...)

Do i need to book travel before i get there? How much will it cost to get around?

I.e If they harass us whats the best way to deal with the situation, where i come from if a fella groped me in the street etc etc I would initially turn around and tell him to stop as I dont like that if he carried on Id simply punch his lights out - Im from Liverpool! Its just not done!

Hi ive posted a few questions about currency, clothing etc for morocco and im getting negative comments about the place where going too. We booked this holiday as something different from the usual 18-30's piss up, we thought it would be nice to indulge in another countrys culture etc.

However I get the impression (here and from other friends and family) that people think we are crazy wanting to go to morocco? I have checked out the hotel and its the Occidental Caribbean Village Agadir - which has good reviews. We are responsible adults, I just dont understand some peoples problem with this destination?

Surely you cant all agree?

Some positive comments about morocco would be nice considering its already booked, were getting worried now.

Hi ive booked to go to Agadir in Morocco for next year in May. I understand that I cannot get Moroccan Dirhams in this country? Obviously that means im not gonna get a good deal in a place like the airport?! Any tips? I know hotels can be pricey too for charging to exchange money. Also is it worth me taking a debit/credit card? Im a little nieve so i dont know if they have cashpoints available in most areas? Im in a touristy area so i dont think it would be a problem.

Also if im all inclusive in my hotel how much cash would we need? Im not into huge drinking sprees anyway, just for general cash while where out and about. Possibly some basic gifts for people back home.
