yes i been to morrocco. i stayed in a hotel opposite the beach in tangiers. its a nice country. the hotels and food is wonderful and the evening entertainment in the hotels are good. the staff are helpfull and polite. however we were told by tour guides there were places we were not able to go to. like every country it has its good places and bad ones. so if you are going be sure to find out your limits to where you can visit. the markets are cool theres a lot of haggling but some nice stuff to buy. be sure if you go to markets etc. take someone with you. to be on the safe side. the weather is nice. be sure to take a camel ride on the beach. local men play football on the beach early in the morning. but normally dissapear before youd even think about it. other than that if you are going have a good time.

Morocco is a country that has its roots in history going all the way back to the Phonecians and presently today you can see the two sides of Morocco... one of a third-world country and one as an emerging country with nightlife, and amenities that we take for granted.
Morocco is also a great place to visit because like the United States there is every kind of climate imaginable. There is the oceanic/mediterannian climate, the atlas mountains (where there is FABULOUS skiing), the desert and more. Each region of the country has its own culture which makes Morocco unique.
Morocco also has more people than the whole population of Canada!
There is a free-trade agreement with the United States and one with the EU (European Union) will go into place in 2010. This helps this countries economy tremendously and should take it from a third world country to a second world country in a matter of years (thanks to the King).
