Yes! I ahve been there a few times. I am half Moroccan, my dad lives there. My other half is Swedish. I have travelled throughout the whole country by bus and by train and car . I love it overthere. Fes is incredible! It has a great market, where it is easy to get lost. I totally recommend going there. The best and cheapest way to go there is to fly into Spain and then take the boat over to Morocco. It is like an adventure! It is pretty expensive to fly into Morocco from the states.

If you have any more questions , please write me and ask, I love to help out.
Bye!

My wife is from Morocco and we are looking to go there in June/July of next year (Rabat/Casablanca).

Remember when visiting Fez (Fes) is about 80° (27c) in July but can get much hotter. Light cotton clothing is recommended for the day, but is does get very cool at night.

Remember Fez (Fes) is also an 'old' city and does not take a liking to the western world as would say a city like Casablanca though you should not have any troubles, taking a man with you (and calling him your husband) should thwart any heckling.

Hope you can get over there (for great deals to get there and more information go to web site below!)

Morocco is great and there are so many things to do and see. I am planning on going back in March 07. I go to Morocco just about every year. Instead of dreaming about Fez, why dont u just go?

Yes I have. I stayed in Casablanca. We stayed with the family of a cab driver from the company I dispatched for. It was a beautiful apartment. Also, we took the train up to Rabat a couple of times. That is a very beautiful city also.

I think Casablanca is kinda the equivalant to New York City in the 50's. It never sleeps. You have to sleep with the windows shut because there is so much people out there.

A great country. To really enjoy your trip, forget all about the travel tips and brochures. Act natural, do whatever you like doing, follow the cravings of your heart. The city people are very much Westernized and you would not need to adapt or change anything in manners and conduct. Mingle with people, make friends and explore. People hate to be watched like animals in a zoo.

Yes I have and loved it. Where will you travel from because you get great deals on Royal Air Maroc. Don't know where you starting from but they fly out of NY. I took AA to Paris and then took RAM to Morocco. I enjoyed the food, people, still have the taxi driver stayed with and gave tour, you will love it.

I am living in Morocco. Fez is nice city to visit, as well as other cities such as Marrakech, Rabat, Meknes, Casablanca, and others. Fez is endearing.
