The secret is to only take clothes you love wearing at home. Limit shoes to one pair of trainers, one sandals for day time and one high heels for evening. Try to take colours that match with everything else ie black and white or beige with one or two other colours. Of course you will buy things when you are away so take that into account. Having said that I ALWAYS overpack, its so hard not to!

I think overpacking is very common. If the hotel has a laundrette service then your problem is solved for rewashing and rewearing clothing. Other wise depending on how long your stay, pack an item of clothing you would wear every other day. Improvise with this such as a colours that are likely to match, just one pair of flip flops that matches every item of clothing. Dont forget to leave space for the sovenirs you may buy out there. You need luggage space for this.

I have that same problem most of the time. I know, you just wanna take everything, don't ya? Me too. But, being a summer trip it's a lot easier, actually to pack light because you don't have those big bulky sweaters to take along. Little tank tops and flip flops make it a lot easier to utilize the minimal space in your bag. As for toiletries, purchase some travel shampoos, etc., and only take along the makeup that you KNOW you will use. Hope this helps. Good luck.

I always pack once, weigh the bag and chuck half of it.... that way I know what I start with and I know how much I have to get rid of. It also makes me think about what I really want to take - I do always take a sarong - it can be many things...beach cover up, skirt, picnic blanket, I've even used it as a towel when I was backpacking - they dry quickly.
Good luck

me and my sister brought so many clothes
we wore the same stuff the entire holiday last year i know most of your stuff is prob new but try wearing it a little before you go to be sure it'll be comfortable and light in a hot climate. I was wearing bikinis with white pyjamas bottoms and cotton camisole over the top also doubling up for beachwear, daytime and evening if you wanted to mix and match.

Mami had a lot to say to this question. Clearly one persona was just not enough for her. She likes you 4 times more than the average answers user. Tip her in cashews unless she brushes up more than 14 times in a 20 minutes period. Then upgrade to Macadamia.

Light clothing that is breathable (no polyester or rayon). Remember in some parts of Morocco you may be scorned for wearing shorts/short sleeves so you might want to consider lightweight (linen) long sleeve tops and/or dresses that go to the floor.

take tank tops and t-shirts. but when you pack them roll them up tightly. They should look like thick cigars. You can fit a lot more in your suitcase this way! And try to only take A FEW pairs of shoes. I know it's hard to decide, but you can do it!!
Have fun!

It all depends on where you are going somewhere like Spain or Hawaii and it's shorts and slinky tops but somewhere Muslim like Turkey or Morocco and you have to take their society customs into account or you will be asking for trouble and possibly rape
