Morocco is known for its wonderful inhabitants, its old culture and beautiful buildings. The Place Djemaa el Fna in Marrakesh is legendary as are the tanneries of Fez, berber rugs and Morrocan jewelery. Their cuisine is excellent, too, with mint tea, Harira soup and Tagine, to mention only a few.
But what I loved the most there were definitely the people: They were hospitable and respectful and a lot more tolerant of people who appear different than them than many Europeans.
P.S.: Morocco is not in the Middle East. It's about as far west as you can get in the Arabic world!

I have been there 2 times. I married a Moroccan man. It is nice. It has a huge mosque in Casablanca, the biggest in Africa. If you like the beach Casablanca is for you. You may also know a city in Morocco that is known for the famous movie named after it called "Casablanca". What was really surprising about Morocco compared to many middle east countries is how "westernised" it is. At one point you can be in a city with modern buildings and the next thing you know ppl are riding on camels and horses in the streets. And women there wear what they want. There is a mix of western colthing and muslim clothing. And ppl there speak Arabic, French and Berber............omg i went on too much.

I've been there a few times, even married a man from there.
Morocco is known for their hospitality, mint tea, leather products, spices, fruits & shopping. they have hiking trips up in the mountains. also, treks through the desert. dinner shows. Marrakesh has a lot to do & see. the country is beautiful & exotic.
most of the people are well educated & speak several languages. family is important to them. they do differ from other countries as far as culture goes and religion. Morocco's King is really modernizing the country. and they are very laid back people. the food is plentiful & great.

I've never been there, but I've heard many good things about it.
Casablanca is suppose to be an exciting city.
It is right on the coast too, so there are beautiful beaches!
