Nut/ seed called gouza in Morocco - English name?

A "special" nut or seed that is in Morocco. It is round and smooth like a buckeye. It is called Gouza in morocco, anyone know what it is here, or if it is available?

gouza el asnab - a kind of nut about 1" in diameter that is really a spherical cluster of pin-sized white balls

it can be found at Arab markets across the country
