I am booked to go to Morocco for marriage and now find that I need hospital treatment. Does anyone know exactly what tests they do on the medical required before marriage? I might be taking chemotherapy drugs soon - will this affect my medical - I wonder - anybody know? Personally I think they maybe only test for STDs but it would be nice to know.

yes it is only a formality check up for marriage. they check ur
blood for aids, urine for drugs and chest x-ray for tbc. beside u will have 5 mins talk with a GM. thats it . dont worry,

not sure approximately Morocco yet Tunisia we in basic terms paid some funds to a doctor, he did no tests, he in basic terms asked some questions and signed a paper.. That became into it.. then we've been given married day after in the present day!

I guess I was lucky. I was asked if I had any STDs, then my husband was asked. That was all. No blood tests, no physical exam. I wouldn't think chemotherapy would matter.

My friend married a Tunisian & I know she had to have an Aids test but not to sure about the what else..

probably hiv and tb , in some countries where close relatives marry i think they do genetic testing to ensure they are not both carriers of something that would lead to a disabled child. i would not have thought that chemo drugs would prevent u getting married. good luck.

When I had mine done they tested my blood pressure and sent me off for a blood test for Aids.
That was it!
