I thought of taking a tour in Europe this way when I was younger...I have seen they have added Morocco on now.

If you have taken it or know somebody that has was it fun? What did you like/dislike?

Maybe my husband and I will visit Morocco and then back pack this way through Europe...everyone things we are so young anyway. LOL Looks like we will be in Morocco Summer 2008 for a wedding and vacation. If all goes well I will insha'allah be done with B.A. by then too so it will be great and we can inshaallah stay longer!

We need to go to Europe anyway and visit some of my family...maybe we can see more of Europe this way. Of course we can get a Eurail pass but I have horror stories of taking the trains in Spain. (except for the one in Barcelona)

I have watched Babel...I have been on the regular buses in Morocco. I am curious about the "Busabout" tour company - that is all.

Maybe not so holy should watch the movie babel himself. The story isn't about terrorism you fool. Some silly kid shot a gun thinking it wouldn't shoot so far and it did.

I haven't taken the bus...wouldn't take the bus either because I hate puking while I travel ;-)

Armed security? Come on!!! You are talking about Morocco!! Morocco is a safe country to travel and honestly, I feel safer in Morocco than most big cities in Europe.
And this movie Babel is nothing more than a typical American movie (and honestly, it’s a stupid and boring one).
I could also suggest rent a car, as streets in Morocco are safe.
I never was afraid there, people are nice and polite, well of course there are always some of these typical men who are trying to flirt and stuff like that, but if you say NO it’s no and that’s it, people are respectful.
I have seen lots of these bus tours and clients are really satisfied, but I prefer to do things on my own with a rent a car.
But if you prefer to travel with a group, I do recommend the coach trip for you.
I always recommend people to visit Morocco, as there is so much culture to see there.
Morocco is colourful and everything has a different taste. There is no place like Morocco, where you can enjoy the ancient culture, see great nature with green mountains and lakes, fantastic oasis, enjoy white sanded beaches and the ocean, visit the desert and the natural park, go shopping, enjoy delicious food and also in the case you like it, you can have a great night life offer and luxurious hotels in Agadir.
Marrakech is a city you will have to see!!! Also Casablanca, Rabat and Fez are cities with history. Fez is famous for it’s universities; it’s like the intellectual capital of Morocco.
Go through the Atlas Mountains, but you should go with a small bus there, as otherwise you couldn’t go the narrow roads.
I work in tourism and a lot with Morocco and really, there is nothing to be afraid of.
Just go there and enjoy, you will see that Morocco and the people there are just wonderful.
ENJOY!!!!

No but this place is the scariest place I have ever been to. We had armed security guards take us thru and we were in a school tour.
