I've been dating this great guy for about 6 months who is originally from Ghana, but hasn't lived there in over 20 years. Everything was great until I met his mom a month ago - she's not too happy about the relationship because I'm not African, and sadly it is beginning to affect the relationship because he values his mom's opinion. What's your take on this - should I run for the hills? It doesn't help that I don't speak the language so of course I have no idea what she says about me when she talks to him.

Israel expalined away there reason for wanting there own land so they could have a Jewish state of government,
So how is that arriving at what they call law?
For it is law that does govern states correct?
"The Law" given unto knowledge is that of the knowing,
and what they claim they have it not.
So what was the purpose of establishing Israel?
Law?,,Voting upon law ,,certainly is NOT knowledge of "The Law".
christians and jews can claim but under exaimination,
Truth will prevail.
Voting upon law is to guess or assume and certainly that is not knowledge.
They have not the law,,so how can it be set up under Israeli government,,see "The Law" is knowledge of it and voting proves they know it NOT.
Clearly they are not the choosen for "The Law" for if they were they would ceratinly be in knowledge of it,,and when it comes to knowledge,,it is in no need of a vote.
Like Truth is in no need of a vote.
Building upon guess and assumption ?
Knowledege is far better than ignorance.

I spent a week in Egypt last year with a friend and had a great time. We met a nice guy (same age - 28) who worked at our hotel. He was very polite and respectful. Since then, we have become friends and keep regular contact by email. He claims to have romantic feelings for me. I would like to spend another holiday in Egypt and at the same time meet him again, however, none of my friends could travel with me this spring for various reasons. I'm a fairly experienced traveler, but I have never traveled by myself before.
Also, when we were there last year, we noticed that there were a lot of women (most of them middle-aged) by themselves, looking for (and probably getting some) 'love' from younger Egyptian men. I do not consider myself part of this category, but I fear that I will be regarded as such if I go there alone. I would appreciate your advice. Thank you.

I just got my permanent residence permit for South Africa (my husband is south african) and are now allowed to work.

I have a MSc in biology/zoology and would appreciate any input on which companies in Cape Town would employ people with my qualification. I have scanned the papers the last six months, but I rarely see jobs to which I can apply. I have looked at websites that lists jobs, but again I find it difficult to find jobs. I read all the time that South Africa needs scientists - but it seems to be mostly engineers.

I would prefer a job where I could use my specific degree (for instance in the Cape Nature Conservation which I attend to apply to), but would also be interested in any job where I can use my more general skills, such as litterature research and writing and administration jobs.

I am not being lazy, I just feel a bit lost since I have not lived in South Africa very long. I will really appreciate any input.
