I have my passport with valid UK visa (I am not British), but this passport had no more pages so I got new passport and have to transfer my visa into it, but home office told me to apply by post. I have no time to do it. I have my old passport with visa, but there is corner cut on it (makes it invalid) and I have my new passport with no visa. Can I travel like that to Poland? (and no, I am not Polish). Home office officer told me that I can, but maybe he just wanted to get rid of me as I kep asking why cant I get my visa transfered in person (not by post).

Please, Can anyone help me? Many thanks

I've lived in Ontario for quite awhile but I was never given an english name. Now I want to add a middle name but is the name change form (30 something pages) really necessary? My mother said that her friend's daughter added a middle name without having to fill-out the change name form (30 something pages), and that the procedures were much more simpler than the name change form. Is this true? And is the change name form really necessary for just adding a middle name?

I was wondering if anyone out there could tell me whether Denver would be a good fit for us. We're looking into relocating to several different places. One is where we used to live (Pacific NW) & the other two we've never lived near them.

We're a very conservative family with four kids (two biological & two adopted), we also do foster care and are very active in our church. The kids are all school age (Senior, Freshman, 7th grade & 3rd grade). The girls are Latin American.

* are the schools there good?
* are there vibrant, alive churches doing hands-on ministry?
* is there ethnic diversity or is there a lot of racism?
* what areas might we want to look at in terms of housing (safe, affordable, at least somewhat diverse school district)
* do you have any other advice or input for us?
