I have spent most of this year travelling parts of europe and am amazed at how cheap public travel is. Over 4 weeks by train i managed to go down the leg of Italy and back up to the north again, all through France and back to England all for roughly £140 without any Europasses. As i came to buy a ticket to go from London to Yorkshire, a two hour train trip, i was condemed to paying a whopping £80, double what id spent in 4 weeks in another country. Why such extreme prices??

can you believe it south africa! i know you are all saying;ja but we lost to ireland, bla bla bla.this is our B team man!!we kicked the pommies asses with our B team.i think SA is on its way to glory in the world cup.we have tested our second side successfully against a (fucked up) but nevertheless proud rugby nation like england.we will have lots of depth in our squad when we get to the world cup next year.what you guys think about that?

I'm not talking about getting married, falling in love, maintaining good health, etc. Here are some examples I've come up with. Now I want to know what you think:
1. Climb Mount Everest in the Himalaya Mountains.
2. Travel to all of the Natural Wonders of the World.
3. Run 5 marathons and participate in 1 triathlon.
4. Lean how to whitewater raft in increasing order of difficulty—from Class I – Class V.
5. Find a cure for something.

Do you think people my size should be forced to purchase two seats on an airline? Why don't they just make the seats larger? I don't ask the smelly guy next to me to buy two seats and it is worse sitting next to him. What do you think?

I'm from So Cal and we're used to very mild weather. But thinking of moving to Raleigh. Be honest: If you've actually lived in the Raleigh area, please tell me what the typical summer and winter are like. Buggy, miserably hot/cold, lots of snow, ice, what? What months? I know I can look up the averages, but I want to hear from the folks who actually live in the area. Thanks!

I'm visiting Paris next week, it's a beautiful city and I have been there a few times before. What things can I do or see that are just a little bit different? Any insiders wanting to share?
Au revoir!
