Was planning to visit...in the summer..where should i stay...?

Depends how much you can afford. If you're going on the cheap, then the Red Roof Inn off Michigan Avenue is probably your best bet. Midline would be the Hotel Allegro downtown, which is quite nice. If you're feeling a little more ritzy, try the Sofitel or the Peninsula.

Where are you planning to visit??

If you are planning to visit Las Vegas, you should stay at the Wynn. It it the best hotel out there, besides the Balogio and Cesar's Palace

It's where you can afford to stay that's the key Chicago has many hotels for every budget from the most frugal to the most luxiourious. Many range in price from as much $40 a night to as much as $2500 a night. Go on a site called Hotels.com and research where you want to stay at that fits your budget and price range.

If you go to San Francisco, there is a great hotel called the Miyako. It has Japanese style tubs in the bathroom and rice paper screens on the windows.
