I've gotten some reviews but not many. Mostly they say they're good, but I want some first hand accounts. Tell me something new.

Most snowmen I've seen are tri-balled, with one big ball, one medium ball and one small ball. Is that normal?

The guy at the sports center just sold me some wax for my skis. He never asked what kind of skiing I did and I assumed that it did not matter(I'm new alright?). So I went ahead and paid $16 for the wax and cork and waxed my skis thourohghly. Now I find out that this is not the right wax, what do I do?

I am an intermediate skier and have been skiing for about 10 years. I am looking into buying skis and I wanted to know the difference between free skis and alpine skis becuase I am more interested in the choices with free skis but I do a lot of downhill. Is there a real difference or would I be okay with both? I ski mostly at small resorts but have been and plan to go again to Big Sky and Lutsen...if that helps :-) Thanks!

Does anyone know if Dynastar skis are good skis for a intermediate skier, 5'2 115... I just got the Dynastar Exclusive 9
"The Exclusive 9 is for intermediate to advanced women who want more balance, control and better turning without having to work as hard. Autodrive platform helps balance and stability without a binding plate for more forgiveness and less weight."
Sizes: 142, 150, 158 and 165
Sidecut: 104-67-93
Radius: 12, 14 15 and 16
Suggested Retail Price: $575
Is this a good ski????????

I'm female, 5'10", 135 lbs. intermediate/advanced level skier. Mostly groomers, some powder/backcountry, no trick skiing. I'd like something fairly fast & aggressive. My current sticks are 4 seasons old (Atomic BetaRide) and 180's, but I've heard shorter is the new trend. Any advice?

For all those snowboarders out there, what do you think of the brand Morrow? I know I want to buy an American brand but hesitant because the brand is lesser known. I also know that I don't want burton etc...

I just joined my ski team and its time for me to but knew skis anyway so i was wondering if i should invest in a pair of slalom racing skis. Ive never raced before and im nervouse that they're are going to feel very different than regular skis. What is the difference betweem them? Will it feel wierd skiing just for recreation?

I'm getting boots for my bf and dont want him to know, but I dont know what size to get. He wears 10.5-11 in regular shoes. What does that translate to in Burton boots? I would prefer the answer be specific to Burton because I know some brands run different than others.

And I appologize if this is a re-post I didnt see the question get listed.

How come it hurts so much when i fall when i snowboard but it doesn't hurt when i fall over when skiing? I recently went on a skiing holiday and rented a snowboard. I'm not sure if i am just falling incorrectly or something because i have never snowboarded before. I mean when i ski it never hurts really unless i am going really fast and then flip but even then sometimes it doesn't hurt. Snowboarding hurt my hands and bottom when i fell :(

It seems like the ratio between snowboarders and skiiers is 5:1, and there keep getting more! they also dangerously snowboard RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, which i find is quite dangerous. I'm not saying they all do, but many. Whatever happened to skiiers being the most "dominant"??
