I'm going skating with my gf today and wondering what skate would be easist, I would guess figure would be best...

Depending on your size, weight and the shape of your foot Riedell makes some very good recreational models for a variety of price ranges.

In skating schools people are usually started on figure skates before going to hockey because of the width of the balde. Just remember that the toe pick is not for stopping.

Depends on your foot, I wanted Rydells until I wore them, it turned out the generic suede were way more comfortable. Try several on, get what you can wear without hurting your feet.
