It depends on your size. I ride a 166 because it is about the right size as an all around board for me. If i was to get a smaller board i might find it easier to spin and jib. If i got a larger board ( I also have a 171) I would find it easier to ride powder. It depends on the type of riding you enjoy

i could get a a hundred and fifty five cuz i'm tremendously much 6ft and that i experience a 158 whether it incredibly shouldn't make a difference. additionally think approximately what you would be making use of it for. Are you finding for a freestyle board...pass with the shorter...in case you're only finding at carving or all-mountain its high-quality to pass with the bigger board.

Well, the difference is 6 cm, but that's barely 2 1/2 inches, so no, there's not much of a difference, length-wise.

The longer the board, the faster you'll go.
the shorter the board, the easier it is to carve down the hill.

a smaller board is for better control. like when i took lessons, i got a 150cm board and i had trouble. but i bought a 144 (which is more appropriate for my height), i felt like i had more control. a longer board is great for tricks, speed, and getting air.

6 cms could be the difference between speed, how high you jump, or if you land your move.. if you want to do better tricks choose the shorter one, although it may be harder to ride
