For all those snowboarders out there, what do you think of the brand Morrow? I know I want to buy an American brand but hesitant because the brand is lesser known. I also know that I don't want burton etc...

Morrow is an ok brand. its deffinatly not up there with a lot of the other brands. good call with burton, im not a fan. Santa cruz makes a good board for girls called "Suave", ride also makes a good girls board called "Solace" both boards are the lower end boards made by those companies but even their lowest will be better quality and last longer than Morrow.

Morrow used to be a good company but there products seem to have gone downhill over the years. Maybe the brand that was so good in the 90s is now run by totally different people and the only similarity between the boards then and now is the name morrow? im not sure on that im just guessing?. Morrow do ok boards but there are lots of other brands that do really good boards. I assume this is the first board you have bought so ive listed a few womens boards which should suit you.
K2 Skyla
Sapient Fluid
Solomon Maiden
Ride Vista
Option Paloma

i would recommend the board, boots, and bindings at your local snow shop. Sales are typically held now through end of October. This is their busy season. I avoid websites for that kind of gear. Easier trying it on and sizing etc in person. for the jacket, pants, gloves, etc..it is safe to go to sports authority or something similar. just go for more of a well-known brand. They are really good with prices compared to a snow shop. Also less money isnt necessarily better. You will need to spend a good amount on the jacket and pants.
