Ok, well photobucket doesn't let me make them any bigger. Sorry,
well, there is one chip on the metal edge and underneath is just the plexi or whatever....what do you think?

Well, the pic is really small so it's hard to tell but many boards have segmented edges around the nose and tail. This is a cheaper way to build a board. It isn't the strongest technique but is perfectly fine and actually a bit easier to fix if you ever blew out your edge in those areas. Is it the same all the way around the nose and tail? If it is, you're fine. If it's only cracked in one or two random spots then you might have issues.

Yeah that seems to be normal wear and tear. It happens as you use your edges. In Pennsylvania we have more ice than powder so your equipment often looks like it went through cheese grater at the end of a season. You can get the deck re-enameled or simply waxed if the cuts/cracks aren't too deep. Just make sure the edges stay sharp as that will help reduce stress on the board when carving

O yeah. boards will tend to crack like that if they get worn enough. all that you need to do is head to the nearest shop and request an enamel job on the tears. It's not more than 20 bucks for it, and will keep your board in shape for a good while. good luck!

Hard to tell from the photo, take it to a ski shop or the rental depo at your local mountain, the shop tech can take a look at it, and let you know.

It may just be a crack in the paint, and only cosmetic.
