I am heading out to Utah, which is better Alta or Snowbird? I am going with my 10 year old son. We are both advanced skiers (almost expert). Convenience is key. Any insight is apprceiated.

I watch videos all the time, still not sure how its going to feel when I'm in the air, and when I should spot my landing? Is it the same as spotting the landing on a backflip?

Looking to take a Christmas vacation and introduce the kids to Snow Sports looking for a good beginning location and ski school. Closer to Austin Texas the better any idea or suggestions??

I'm still a beginner and I bought my first board. When I lay the board on flat ground it kind of bows in the middle (the toe and heel touch the ground but not the middle). Is this okay and how will this affect my riding? Is there any way to fix this?

I am pretty new at snowboarding but I am pretty athletic and can go down the mountain without falling but I cant do any tricks. I would like to be able to do some jumps and rail slides and what not. Any suggestions on how to do those tricks? But what kind of board should I ask for?

Hi i have a pair of snowboard boots,they are made by vans
(vans axiom) the boots are for rachet and step in.I cannot find a webbsite thats sells the footplate that fits onto the bottom of the boot.
anyone got any ideas where i can get a set from including the bindings

OK, im looking for good parks in cali in the sacramento area (obviously not in sacramento). i have been snowboarding about 10 times so a place with some good intermediate runs. we usually go up to boreal but i am looking for new places to go besides that.

Hmm. okay since many said stuff about soakers, which the one and only store in my country only stocks bunny soakers or some stuffed animal soakers, i'll want to know how to make a soaker myself?

what's terry cloth? will sponge do? how do i mke my own soakers? lol i'm sorry this question is pathetic but i really dont wish for my skates to rust.

ps. i still haven get it settled but i applied oil. it shouldnt continue rusting, by logic..

My friends and I have never been to skiing and snowboarding, and we're planning for a trip this winter with a bunch of people. Can someone help me a bit?
1) Any GOOD skiing/snowboarding resort near the nyc area?
2) Is it usually a day trip of overnight?
3) How do you get there? driving your own, take a bus?
4) Do you need to make any reservation at the resort?
5) Do you recommend getting your own gears?
6) How much is admission?

Hey i just purchased a brand new 2007 Burton Air snowboard. Last year i purchased a great pair of Burton Mission bindings. I tried to install them but its weird. The holes dont seem to match. What do i do? Are these 2 not compatible or something?
