Honey, you do realize that you have 8 resorts in Taos alone right? People travel from all over the country to Skit and Board in Taos. Get a season pass at one of the resorts and go up every weekend and whenver you have free time. Angel Fire Resort looks good, a little expensive, but a pass is going to be expensive anywhere. You survive by boarding sweetheart.

Find your way to Wolf Creek just outside of Pagosa Springs, CO
Most snow in CO. Telluride is down in the lower part of CO too.
Durango has a small airport that you can fly into.

It is the off tourism season in Alaska, and the helli skiing........
If you are looking for a good get away in the Rockies, ski CO and head for Montana. Might I recommend Big Mountain in Whitefish our Bridger Bowl in Bozeman

You buy the cheapest flight tickets available to either New england or the rockies. Simple as pie. I know southwest flies into manchester NH, and Jetblue Flies into Boston, MA and Denver, CO Both airlines have decent prices.
