i want to know why snowboarding is WAY better then skieng? i agree with it but i wanna know ur guys's imput.

Well in the 1st place it just is and second it just is!! im sry but i have skied once and it was so boring i have all my own board stuff and i wouldnt sell it for any ski things in the world.

I skied for like 15 years, then in my early twenties I started boarding. My plan was to do both but once I started boarding really well I sold my skis. I really just prefer the feel of a snowboard, especially in powder. There's also the versatility of a snowboard. There are lots of tricks and stuff you can do on a board that people just dont do on skis.

If you're not good yet you can still do the whole mountain on a snowboard, but not on skis! If it's icy you can stay on your back edge with a board. I don't get hurt on my board, either, but I used to wipe out sooo bad on skis. (I sprained my knee, too!)

It's opinion. I happen to think the other way around, but that's my opinion, jaded by the fact that I happen to ride on two planks.
