The metal frame is a bit rusted, will it come off automatically when I snowboard this season? I am afraid of damaging the board by putting chemicals on the board. Thanks

Can you help me think of some fun, relatively cheap activity ideas for the ski club I'm trying to start at my university in WI? So far, I've thought of saturday trips to surrounding local hills, ski tuning clinics, and going out to dinner as a club. what else could we do?

I was wondering where is a great place to go snowboarding in either New Hampshire, Massachusetts, or Vermont.

I want to take a winter vacation this year and I'd be trying the sport for the very first time. I am not particularly atheletic but really, really want to try snowboarding.

Is there a great school or great instructors? What is a really WONDERFUL hotel/lodge/bed and breakfast or whatever with great instructors or snow (great snow) for novices?

Does anyone have any reccomendations?

Thank you!!

I am going to be in Vermont for about a week in late December, I would like to go sking/snowboarding at least one day (never been skiing, only snowboarding) The last time I was there I had to rent equipment from the Ski Shop at Killington itself. I was curious if there is another place that has a wider variety (Aspen East Maybe??) avaiable for rent. Buying is not really an option because I live in Florida and rarely ever go near snow.

Any suggestioons?

I ended up taking alittle over a month off from skating dew to school tessts and we had family fly in, and i had to quite the skating club I was at, so now i'm just a member of USFSA and all that confusing stuff, But anyways i use to be able to do double, double jumps like double loop double toe ect
Now i can't even land my double salchow, and my coach is changing stuff to make it easyer, but i'm just getting confused,i don't even like my lessons anymore since i do better when i'm not in lessons, so i've been thinking about going coach-less for a year and seeing how that would work.
since I use to land everything now i don't...i don't really know what to do.
I'm one of those people who get mad at there jumps, and then i just start throwing myself into them and i messed up my knee a few years ago, now it's comming back.
Plus I'm starting a band with some of my friends and I'm have some family issuse so i'm sure the stress isn't helping...
Any advice or tiops would be great!
Casey

Every year at my home mountain Jfbb Big boulder they have a little competition where you dress up in a costume and you ride and whoever has the best gets a season pass for the next season. This year people had cheesy cowboy clothes on. My brother has a penguin suit he made and has a helmet that looks like a penguins head. It looks so funny and when the season comes hes gonna practice riding it. Do you think hell win?

The summer after 10th grade, I worked shoveling horse crap to buy a pair of skis. I ended up buying a Rossignol 9s oversize...it was a year old demo ski when I bought it at Hunter Mountain NY. I'm now a sophomore in college. I volunteered at Windham Mountain with the Adaptive Program 16 days a year and totaled probably 35 days of skiing a season (I'm a church boy...sundays are a nono). I understand the foam core in Rossignosl have a somewhat short lifespan as far as energy goes. I've already noticed a dropoff in power out of turns in these recent seasons Short slolam turns and cruising very important to me. I was wondering if had any experience with this and if I should start demoing some of the new lineups. (Volkl perhaps?......if I had the money)

What I wore last season for skiing for upper body clothing was a white undershirt, a normal t-shirt, a somewhat heavy sweatshirt, and a heavy winter coat. For pants I wore 2 pairs, one that is like fleece, but doesn’t keep you as warm, and one that is a heavier wind pant-type. And for my feet, I just wore like 2 pairs of ankle socks. What I was thinking was to just ditch the undershirt and normal t-shirt, and just buy either a $60 Under Armour Coldgear Blitz Chase Mock Mens performance top (http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2589974&cp=2367827.2629150.2624961.2631197.2631204&parentPage=family&searchId=2631204) or a $50 Under Armour Coldgear Chase Mock Mens performance top (http://www.dickssportinggoods.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2171768&cp=974098&sr=1&origkw=Under+Armour+Coldgear+Chase+Mock+Mens&kw=under+armour+coldgear+chase+mock+mens&parentPage=search&searchId=18458230183). So yeah, any advice is appreciated.
