I just bought a crossbow and I was wondering if it was legal to hunt in my backyard?

I live in a neighborhood and our property (2 acres) has woods in the back and 1 house next to use.. of course I'd go back into the woods. I live in the state of Alabama. Is this legal?

I have an 870 with a full choke, but I took apart a winchester slug and it went right through the barrel. Is is okay if I shoot that specific kind of slug through it? Will it affect the accuracy??

How good are the Mossberg 100ATR bolt action rifles in the .308 caliber? Are they accurate? Is the quality good? They seem to be very inexpensive, are they a good deal for the money? They have a free floating barrel. Do they match other rifles of high cost?

For all of those that are against hunting you're even worse then us hunters if you like to see an injured or dead deer on the side of a road and imagine that the one's that were injured the have to go throughout the rest of their life suffering.

As we reported last year, Congressman Duncan Hunter (R-CA) helped to enact an NRA-backed law to save the 1100 Roosevelt Elk and Kaibab Mule Deer on Santa Rosa Island from court-ordered extermination. Congresswoman Lois Capps (D-CA) and Senators Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and Barbara Boxer (D-CA) were outraged. It was clear that they were not going to give up until every elk and mule deer on the island had been destroyed.

This week, Senator Feinstein succeeded in inserting a provision into the Omnibus Appropriations Bill that repeals this animal-saving law. This action, passed in the dark of night, reinstates the extermination order that must be carried out by 2011. This is a terrible blow to wildlife conservation in America.

I just bought a S&W 500 and am looking for a good holster for it. These two holsters are virtually identical except that one is an "across-the-chest" holster and the other is a vertical shoulder holster.

right the title says it all..

i know of lots of kind of bullets.. but little about what they are good for.

halow (is that even the right word) points kind of explod in the target right??

FMJ's are good for punching through things if i remember right.... on a side note... how can you tell if a bullet is FMJ or not??

but there are lots of other kinds of bullets out there... i was just woundering what they all do.
