I'm pretty open minded on most subjects. But on things I know are true and based on actual facts...The shortest distance between two points is a "straight line" and I'm not moving...lol
NOTE* At the same time I'm not afraid to admit I am wrong

I will certainly stick to my position when I know my information to be irrefutable fact.
Though the whole of creation may disagree due to ignorance,
That does not lessen the validity of FACT.
You'll have a certain amount of that.
Here's why.
In the world today, there is a prevelant attitude that all things are known.
The belief that one already knows all there is to know is the most perfect barrier against learning.
When they think they know everything,
They refuse to even consider irrefutable facts that they've no previous knowlege of.
This is a trap that our society has become enmeshed in that may well lead to it's eventual downfall.
When learning ends, stagnation sets it.
Stagnation leads to rot at the core.
Ask the Romans.

Well......isn't continuing to believe you're right a part of sticking to your guns? Anyway I will stick to my guns until proven wrong, literally.

Yes, that is pretty much what I do. Except it really annoys me when someone is right about something and I have to admit I'm wrong. I hate being wrong.

Absolutely, unless I find out that what I believe in is not True, and then I admit I made a mistake.*
