I got some cooked dungeness crab (a whole bunch), it took me 4 days to shuck it all. The legs stayed in the fridge for the 4 days until I shucked them, then I put them in vacuum sealed bags and froze em. I'm nervous...are they safe to eat?

I currently live in South Dakota and attend South Dakota State University. I work on a farm when not in school. I was wondering if any novice fisherman or anyone who knows the ins and outs of the fishing world in Alaska could tell me about this job and where I can look for hiring? I do not need to hear the hard work aspect of it, I know it is demanding but I am not shy of hard work due to growing up on a farm. So if anyone can give me any help at all, I need an adventure and something new. I am tired of the stale routine of every summer working on the farm and then going back to school. I understand the money aspect can vary but this will be an experience that I could always remember. Any help, I would be most thankful. Thanks all.

I always see people catching bass from there boats and in envy I sit from shore catch sunnies with a worm and bobber. How can I identify spots of a lake that will produce bass. I prefer using live bait so i would be using minnows or worms. I could use lures but dont cuz i never catch anything. I believe my problem is the fish are not there. I do have a little row boat so i can use tips for both the shore and on a boat. PLEASE HELP!!!

Realizing that some backlashes are gonna occur regardless,I would like to know how to do away with the annoyance of most.Particularly when changing lure size or simply casting into a prevailing wind.I've been using these reels for a few years but can't seem to overcome this problem and would very much appreciate any" tips "to help avoid this pesty problem as much as possible so the frustration level can be dealt with a bit better and to make my fishing time on the water a more enjoyable experience.
Thanks in advance for any comments or suggestions.

Let's say i hook a big catfash while fishing. If I tighten my line, and it is a BIG catfash, can this thing pull me upstream for about 5 miles? It would sure beat walking back to my car.
