I've never fished for big fish through the ice before. I was looking for some tips and techniques for targeting Northern Pike, Musky, Walleyes, and possibly Largemouths while ice fishing. Thanks

hey if look at my recent question, i had no fish bite at the river, by the way i live in rougemont.NC and the eno river is behind my house, so i picked up a local tip from a fish thing that said that fish in this time of winter go for smaller baits eh?. so i cut a fake worm to the size of half of my thumb, so i plop it in the water, instant bite!!!!!. i caught 4 bass in the riveer in about 6 minutes, but my question is why are they still in the river?. why arnt they movin upstream

How should I cut it to produce the highest yield? Is there a worthwhile amount of meat on the underside?

Also, I'll probably fry most of it this time, but should I opt to stuff and bake it, should I leave the skin on or take it off first?

I have to do this compare and contrast chart on Commercial Fishing on whether it is necessary and environmentally safe or dangerous to the ecosystems? So far, I can only find how it's bad. Can anyone help me out?

Also, if you could give me some helpful websites that would help a lot! Thanks!

I live in Southern part of San Diego near Imperial Beach, I've gone fishing to that pier and haven't caught anything yet. I've tried muscles, squid and lures. I know it's close to the winter season. So I don't know what to do or what to use. I'm just a beginer.

You know, the fish?? Articles and links to sites are great, but what I really want are some facts. If you give me a good summary paragraph about shad, that's worth 10 points!

Thanks a lot and no, this isn't homework, it's for a volunteer project about Shad. I'd just like to know more about them.
