Youve got a very large selection to choose from here but i would go for any of those three reels as for the price they are all worth it, now for the model i would really just go for shimano as for the price you cant beat them, try any of these versions

From the information given I would go with either Daiwa or Shimano, with my own personal preference being Daiwa. Penn makes some fine reels, but for what you described, fishing in a pond, they don't make a good reel when compared with the other two mentioned.

Bob has my vote!
Shimano or Daiwa.
Personally, I'm leaning toward the Shimanos.
The Shimano "Symetre's" are excellent ,"quality", reels with a decent price, ($79.99).
Plfueger "President" reels are nice for fresh water too!
Hope this helps ya? Good luck!

me, i would get a daiwa, but dont go cheap, cause you will get what you pay for. casting reels, or spinning though? i would look at fuego or sol casters, or black gold or advantage spinners.

to really give an informed answer, would be helpful, to know what size fish you are going after & if you will be still fishing or trolling.
