Ok..I have a manual pump airgun that delivers about 650 fps. I want to buy a hand airgun that shoots about 450 fps but it is CO2 powered.
I never worked with the 12 gram pressurized CO2 canister before.. is it worth it? How long does one canister last? Can I get off effective, accurate shots before the canister runs out?
I know the advantage of C02 canisters is that you don't have to pump for every shot, the presurized canister provides the air pressure for you.
But I'm concerned that for each shot, the air pressure decreases - wouldn't this lower accuracy and fun!

this old pistol belonged to my Grandmother who died 20 years ago and it is in excellent shape and in the original box. I'm sure it has never been registered and i'm wondering if I can sell it and how I would go about it. I did go to a local gunshop and they offered me $100 when I know it is worth more than that from what i've looked up on the internet. I live in SC

We will be in a campground in the park, but people are telling us we're nuts because of the bears. Has anyone else done it? Did you feel safe?

a buddy of mine and I were out on the lake sunday having a few beers and just relaxing cause the bite was pretty slow.

then I notice a little nibble on my pole and end up setting the hook and as soon as i do the fish starts taking drag......I fought with this fish for easily 30 minutes with it going air born and coming out of the water at least 4 times.....finally after this fish had made multiple runs he loses a little gas and comes up to the surface on his side and it is the biggest rainbow trout I have ever had on my line.....my buddy goes to net the fish and he misses and ends up knocking the hook right out of his mouth and the tired MONSTER trout swam away.

I know he didnt do it on purpose but that happened 3 days ago and I still cant get over it......a fish that size comes along once in a lifetime.

Just wondering if anyone out there has similar stories of losing the big one when u did everything right.

What type of metal are these pellets made of? My son accidentally shot himself in the leg and the pellet is still just under the skin. He won't go to the doctor. I'm concerned about lead poisoning. If there is no lead content, what type of metal are these made of, and what toxicity concerns should I have?

I've seen guns in news and in movies but I just can't imagine what the difference is. I am sure is the size but I want to know if 0.40 or 0.45 mean 40mm and 45mm or maybe it doesn't have anything related to mm.

I've heard the myth about shooting the White Deer will bring bad luck, but was hoping to find more myths/legends about deer, wildlife in general, hunting and/or trapping. Maybe there are family stories you have or have heard from freinds or you know where on the Net I could them.

I am looking to get a DPMS varmint/tactical model of the ar-15. I am stuck choosing between two great calibers how ever the .223 and the .308. I have seen the perfomance that .308 is capable of at longer rangers and have heard that the.223 performs similar to that. The thing that im stuck is this. I'm looking to use it for hunting coyotes, foxes, white tail and pronghorn. I know that the .223 is more than capable of taking down all of these animals at 200 to 300yrds as long as you hvae good shot placement. The question i have is that if i get the .308 and use it to shoot coyote..probably not fox tho...and used a solid bullet that doesnt expand much in the lightest grain i can find do you think it would blow the coyote up too much??

I really need to know the official slogan, approved by the NRA, with a Web site where I can confirm this info. I keep finding "Guns don't kill people, people do," but I'm not sure this is really their official motto. Thanks!

I don't have a boat, but would like to go fishing somwhere in Murfreesboro - does anybody know of any good fishing piers or spots that are open to the public? I've heard the Greenway has 4 fishing piers, but I can't find out exactly where they're located, and don't want to do a lot of hiking to find out.
Thanks for any advice!

I'm looking for an aftermarket trigger that will fit on my model 1917 Enfield. I'm trying to replace the military style two-stage trigger that it currently sports with a softer one-stage trigger. In the past I've tried to put a Timney trigger on it, but it went off every time the stock was bumped. I'm just wondering if it is even possible to do what I am attempting, and how I would do it if it is.
