All the bb, paintball and airsoft gun manufacturers have it posted on their box that you must be 18 years old to purchase a bb gun and intended for those of 16 and older.

No matter where you are, you MUST be 18 years old to buy your own paintball gun. I am 17, so I have my parents come with me if I go to buy anything paintball at a store. Many department stores like ***** Sporting Goods, Sports Authority, and Walmart require you to be 18 to buy any Paintball equipment, even a mask or a neck protector.

airsoft guns, airsoft ammo, paintball guns/ammo, bb guns all 18yrs old. If you arent 18, pay a hobo to buy it for you.
