Our adult son has lost the use of his left arm. He loved rock fishing but to date we have not been able to find a suitable rod, reel and tackle so he can continue this sport. A couple of sporting stores have looked into this for us but to date no-one has been successful. It is his 30th birthday in a month and we would love to be able to put this pleasurable past-time back within his reach.

I admit, I've only been fishing for those kind of fish a couple of times, all of my experience comes workin/fishing in AK, but I'm moving to a tropical area in about a year, and I'd like to set up shop there. Besides lures and poles and the basics, what kind of stuff will I need, and how big a boat (I know "people have chaught 700lb marlin from a rowboat!...and all of that crap, but I mean, to have 4 guests (my ideal #) a deckhan and myself, with room to hold the catch for a full day charter). When I Deck handed for a friend in Hawaii, he had a 42 foot hatteras that was awesome, but I could see getting by with less, at least to get started, but maybe that's how big you need...?

Here is what I am looking for: It should have to the greatest extent possible all of the following characteristics:
1. Largest bullet (regardless of cartridge size) to make the hugest holes
2. The highest power (in terms of muzzle velocity and energy) to create the most damage
3. Not a revolver
4. Hold the highest number of rounds without sacrificing the other requirements
5. Factory made, not custom, and in current or recent production
6. The manufacturer should have the highest reputation for pistols. Quality is paramount.
7. Highest reliability
8. Don't care about recoil
9. Purpose is defense and vanity
10. Price is not an issue

I understand that it may be impossible for a pistol to have all of these characteristics because there may be tradeoffs but please suggest which pistols come closest to matching the spirit of these requirements. Thanks

I am 22 years old. I love hunting, fishing, trapping, anything outdoors. Is it just me or are people from my generation and younger losing the true aspect of hunting and the traditions that go along with it. It just seams to me more and more people are just buying a gun and shooting anything that moves with little or no respect for the ethics of the game.

I'd like it to be as close as possible to a government issue M16A4 (lug, correct flash hider, removeable carry handle, etc). Doesn't have to be a Colt...

Who has the best price out there for a new one? Any brands to stay away from? Thanks in advance!

Some people who climb mountains think they know it all about mountaineering and some manage to get in to Mountain Rescue Team, when that happens they think they are the best. They might wear a badge on there jacket but can they do if there's a major incident. So what do you think

I`m looking for a high quality general purpose fixed blade knife. Any ideas as to what brand i should look at? Price is not really an issue but it needs to work well, look good and last long. I`m favouring Hittori`s camp knife at the moment to give you some idea. Advice is appreciated.

A guy I work with dresses funny on the weekends, hides in the weeds, blows a silly duck whistle and then BLAMO! shoots defenseless ducks with a shotgun. Where's the sport in that? And then he brags about it on Monday like it makes him macho - the rest of us make jokes behind his back.
