Midway has user reviews, can't recall if airgunwarehouse does or not..

you can check on line at

http://www.gunbroker.com

I know you said you didn't want to buy it online, but, most of the time on gunbroker they give a lot of information on what they are selling.. You might be able to pick up information that way...There is one up for sale on GB for $60, the seller only gives the pistols specs though and I assume you're familiar with those...

If you're dead set on buying this pistol that's fine, a Daisy is going to be available at almost anyplace that carries firearms...

I'm going to make a suggestion, even though they cost three times as much as your Daisy, the "Webley" Hurricane .177 is well worth the money. This is a very well made, accurate, good looking, last a lifetime kind of airgun..

Even if you're just looking at the economics of the two pistols in short order the Hurricane will pay for itself because unlike the Desert Eagle it does not use CO 2. The Hurricane is spring piston.

If you would like to learn more about spring piston airguns and the very interesting history of airguns, and it's been a long history since airguns have been around since the 1500's. Go to http://www.beeman.com

Airgun warehouse has the Webley Hurricane for the best price that I have been able to find...New they run in the $180's , sometimes on gunbroker I have found really nice "barely" used ones for around $100

PSyo-G;answer from Toronto.Have you been to the Umarex site/they have an ADOBE drive to download for their products. The blowback co2s are all a little weak, compared to say, the 500fps walther rep I use almost every day.It is a cool concept, and it looks cool, but its a waste of power.More power goes into the slide, than the chamber.I have done 20yrs with all calibre air,and find that the longer barrel, with no blowback is 100%.Check out UMAREX,instead of the DE,check out the steel replicas of s&w,walther,Colt, and even hk!I d love to see what you think. The extra $ for a metal recoil co2 is worth it!
