Okay, let's ignore the gamers here and try this instead. I flew across desert and semi-desert areas and one of the tricks here was to soak rice in water. Let the rice sit for an hour or so, then put it back out on something clean to dry again. It will still retain a bit more water in itself. This secondarily dried rice is fed to the birds and as it's digested it helps rehydrate the bird.

Remember, you have to get the birds used to it before the race season. Also, make sure that your birds are well trained on how to drink from their carrier and on the truck as well.

Strap tiny little cups of water to their feet, they can take a sip on the wing.

Or... train them to fly through clouds with the beaks open!

Strap the pack to the bird, then tape the nozzle to there beaks. Works every time!
