The idea of outlawing boxing is often thrown around because a few times a year someone dies in that sport. Since a guy died in the Chicago marathon recently I started thinking hey we should make that sport illegal. Even the original greek guy who ran to marathon way back when is said to have dropped dead after doing it.

I would like to purchase a jockstrap, in store, rather than on-line. Could you name some specific stores in Melbourne, Australia that I could purchase one from?

Thanks

I just watched for the second time this week an interview with A-Rod talking about having "gone to war" for 8 months. This player, with a bush-league attitude about the game, is being paid more money a year than a platoon of Marines, for having mastered the skills necessary to play a kids game exceptionally well. Athletes are not "warriors"! Basically, these guys are paid ridiculous amounts of money to entertain us, while the military men and women protecting our freedom are paid a barely livable wage.

I coach kids in basketball and the way the game has changed is absolutely amazing to me. I grew up in an age where teams came first, and nothing was more important than winning. Now I coach guys that can't shoot free throws or dribble, but they want to dunk and shoot threes. The NBA is partly to blame but the cash cow ESPN has pushed guys like Iverson, Marbury, McGrady, Bonds, and Terrel Owens. All ego driven show boats, but none who have won a championship. Has the very network created to help the growth of sports been the main culprit in destroying those same sports and there true nature?

It has come to the point where the so-called worldwide leader of sports has resorted to being part of the news instead of reporting it. They pretty much sensationalize stories nowaday. Especially with the LeBron James crap the last couple days. Is ESPN finally the male answer to E! Network? After all, they do have their own token homosexual (Mike Greenberg, who is ESPN's Ryan Seacrest).
