I know practice means alot.which I do.I have been skateboarding for 8 months.But I see people doing big *** stairs and stuff like handrails.But I am scared to do stuff like 8 stairs.like how do i get the guts.I think im really good at skating for a 8 month skater.But i know I can be better.the biggest stairs I ollied was 5.and I thought it was pretty easy then i thought.so I think for a fact i can do 8 stairs but i just need guts.like im tired of seeing people do way better then me and they been skating in same time.dont get me wrong im not hatin its just I need someone to inspire and motivate me to be the best i can be.Its just I think to much of the bad things that can happen doing big things on skateboard.thats what stops me can anyone help.I dont wanna end on up scarred lol.

is this another case where something has been redefined? When I was growing up, when people said great athlete, it evoked images of prodigious speed, or power, jumping ability, cunning or strenght or any combination thereof that allowed someone to excel at their sport.
