They are just heavier than you and just grab you and beat you up. It seems they have no weak spots, do they? Just a layer of protective fat.

I'm going into my sophomore year in highschool. I've been wanting to play football but now I'm having second thoughts. I never played a game before because I broke my arm 2 days before the first game 2 years ago, so I never really have had any experience. But now 2 years later, I weigh about 185 lbs. and about 5'10.5" tall. My bench max is 165, my squat max is 250, and I can clean about 135. I have decent speed, but can't block to well. Should I play football and if so what position.

I have to make up a cheer. I already have some of it but i need some lines to go in between sentences! heres what i already have...

The Lakewood Cougars start off a brand new year. we're strong (pause) loud (pause) and ready to cheer! Our hearts are pumped, our motions tight. the cougars are ready to fight fight fight. * tHiS iS WhErE i NeEd SoMtHiNg* The cougars are ready and are gonna bring the heat. watch out cuz you know we'll knock you off your feet!

If you could help me put something in the spot that says * tHiS iS WhErE i NeEd SoMtHiNg* that would help!! also tell me what you think about the cheer! =D

Does anyone know any inspirational quotes? I need some that say how a team is nothing without its amazing and inspirational team leaders (our seniors). This is for the seniors on my track team, i need quotes that are thanking them for being good leaders and saying how we would be nothing without them. if the quotes have to do with running, that'd be better. thanks so much!

i need them ASAP please!

im about 5'7", 125 lbs. my throwing could use some work, it doesn't always spiral but it goes an okay distance. catching skills are decent, i can tackle, but i cant hit very well (or whatever you call it when you try to knock the person over at the scrimage line.) obviously my comprehension of the sport in general is barely there ;] arm strength is on the weaker side of pathetic, but strong legs and abs. im a good runner. pretty fast (though there are faster!) but can go a while w/o spazzing. i just want to know what i could tell the coach i might be able to play? THANKS A TONNN!

I'm curious as to why the NHL has completely collapsed in terms of popularity in the United States.

The game was pretty popular in the 80s but took off in the 90s. Now, it's become irrelevant and a joke.

I enjoyed watching the NHL during the 90s and admit that I don't follow it as much now. I can't put my finger on it. Why? What happened?

Americans have stopped paying attention to tennis, track & field, and other sports.

Hockey players are very athletic. The game is intense, the conditioning is excellent. The players never get in trouble with the law. The league has made rule changes to increase scoring. Nothing seems to matter.

Do you have an explanation? What caused the declining popularity of the NHL in the United States? It's been going on several years, even before the lockout. Why?
