I always used dumbells to do my chest, but i'm wondering if anyone here works-out without a spot and didn't get any injured or the olympic bar getting stuck to your chest.

Normally, I would have said "no" to that and screwed up my face in disgust. But, I read an article that made me think a little harder about it. Adults are making big $$ off little league w/ corporate sponsorship...and it's not like some kids don't get paid for their talents, ie 5-million-dollar-girl Dakota Fanning. What do you all think?
Link to article (his logic is bulletproof)..if you are interested is:

When you see sports live there is no one to commentate as far as I know, you just watch. So is it really necessary to have them on TV? You could turn the sound down but then you miss the crowd. So do they add anything to the game or are they just an annoyance

I think the media sometimes makes characters out of people. I am sure TO has done his part to make it easy for them, but ESPN and other media groups seem to have it out for this guy. The same thing with Barry Bonds and Baseball and Iverson in basketball. When something goes wrong in the sport, somehow it always goes back to these guys...I just don't think it is fair. They paint a villian out of these guys without any type of Journalistic integrity or social concern. They create a truth they want people to believe in order to sell ratings. Babe Ruth was worse than any of these guys, Jordan was a known gambler, yet Pete Rose gets kept out of the hall....wtf.... Are our heros and villians real, or created by Dan Patrick?

Where can I get one of those big, cushiony blue mats you see in gyms under stuff like rope climbing and rock climbing to cushion the fall? I'm talking about the giant ones about 1 foot high.

Okay, so maybe physical or mental yoga isn't considered a sport...

Anyway, I was wondering if there was a good around-the-house substitute for a yoga mat. I want to see if I like it before I try it, and I would prefer not to to invest $20 or more dollars until I decide I like doing yoga. I'm going to a yoga club at my school, and my teacher who is running it told me I would need some sort of mat. If it changes anything, it will be on short "office" carpet.

Please do help!

Recently notice this guy who happened to be playing on the lane just next to me who bowls with an rather awkward style..
His moves looks a little crappy to me, neither graceful nor professional..
But some pretty high scores he've got(+/-200)..
So I started paying more attention..
To my astonishment, he was bowling with only 2 fingers in the holes & with the thumb outside gripping onto the ball..
Never seen anyone played this way before..
But all his spins are pretty neat, the ball spins smooth arcs[somewhat like this " ) "] before hitting the centre pin resulting in strikes mostly..
But I doubt any competition would recognise this form of unorthodox style..
What do you guys think?

It is the first time in the history of sport a sports complex was named after a female professional athlete.

Considering other woman have made thier mark in profesional/amateur sport, Babe Dedrickson, Wilma Rudolph, Dorothy Hamil, etc., is the naming of a sports complex after a woman athlete long overdue.

What name of a female athlete would you submit for a sports complex ?

Not only the terminologies, but I also want interactivities like movies or flash animations to show how a specific move for instance.

The website should be thoroughly descriptive and analytic with the game.
