I have recently started to exercise a bit more, mainly by jogging/running. I've noticed that I get shin splints just after a little bit of doing either, and it also hurts my calf muscle too. Can anyone suggest some good streches for me to do before jogging?

I am a sprinter at my school but i want to start running long distances to get me ready for the SEALs when i graduate. My coach says that if you run long distance it will mess up your speed, but i still want to sprint on the track team. Is my coach right or can I do both?

I saw Iryna Mykhalchenko in the ladies high jump at Gateshead last week and although she was injured she was still brilliant. It was the first time I have seen her jump and I was well impressed.

it was my friends birthday and we went ice skating it was my first time and we stayed there for 3 hours after 2 mins i could skate without holding onto the rale after 5 mins i could go into the middle and skate without falling after 10 mins i could do a twirl in the middle and skate over to the other side was this just luck?
