people say that baseball isn't a sport or that basketball isn't a sport
nascar isn't a sport
some say billards is more of a sport than baseball visa versa
so for all you people out there what does it take for some activity to have the title of a sport

It is a physical activity played to a set of rules - that is the gist of the definition I found answering a previous question.
This means that pretty much anything from athletics to beer-chugging can be considered a sport.
If you want to get historical then it should conform to the Olympian ideas of running, throwing and fighting ... or "American football" :-)
