Does anyone know the benefits of sleeping on a trampoline? How about the drawbacks?

I just married, and hubby's bed is like a rock, I hate it. I am accustomed to waterbeds, but he hates them. I thought a trampoline would be a happy medium?

Our neighbors went out of town one time so we decided to, er, sleep on our trampoline. The next thing we knew the neighbors house was all lit up. We didn't know they had a house sitter. I still don't know if they saw anything. Drawbacks: unless you are into voyeurism no privacy. Benefits: Everything you've heard is true. It is fun.

Benefits- you can fit more crap under it; it's easier to sort socks on the springs, sex can be less work for both parties and a little more interesting, it's harder for you to roll off in your sleep, setting your alarm clock right underneath you is a guaranteed wake up call taking 10 minutes to shut it up, if he wets the trampoline it's much easier to clean the bed

Drawbacks- your hair gets caught in the springs (if you have braids or dreadlocks, it's even worse), you always end up in the middle right next to each other so your face may get stuck in his @ss, contrary to popular belief the sheets are harder to keep in place, if he wets the trampoline it's much harder to clean what's underneath and/or the carpet

You may try an air mattress or Astrofoam for your side if you decide against the trampoline idea. Have fun!

I cannot imagine a single benefit. Drawbacks? Well, sleeping on rubber can't be very comfortable for your skin. Youd sweat and stick to the trampoline. Also, you're in danger of people seeing the trampoline and trampling on you.

I love laying on trampolines... you don't have parts of your body that hit the surface harder than others, yet you have support. Great for the summer, you get air all over and under your body...the only drawback would be getting your foot stuck in the springs.

It probably isn't as comfortable as a bed...
but I agree...It is fun.
Also if you jump on a trampoline for about 5 minutes..then try to jump on the ground...you can't jump very high..maybe like an inch..it's really fun.
=^)

They make beds like the sleep number bed where you can actually change the comfort of softness levels for either of you. So one can have a soft bed, and he other can have the hard bed, at the same time. You should look into it. They are a bit pricy though.

I actually did that... the thing drooped all the way to the ground. I could've spared myself the hernia from getting my fat a$$ up on there by just sleeping on the driveway, like I do every other night.
What was I thinking?!
