it was my friends birthday and we went ice skating it was my first time and we stayed there for 3 hours after 2 mins i could skate without holding onto the rale after 5 mins i could go into the middle and skate without falling after 10 mins i could do a twirl in the middle and skate over to the other side was this just luck?

Had a similar experience the first time I went ice skating. It was a friend's birthday party and I just started skating without holding on the railing.
You have a natural ability on the ice. Consider taking learn-to-skate classes. Good luck on your skating!

I think "beginner's luck" is an illusion. If you think about it one way, the beginner isn't supposed to win, right? Beginners are expected to be bad at the sport. So when the beginner is actually good, or better than expected, people look for a reason why. They don't know why, because it's not logical for a beginner to be good, so they call it Beginner's Luck.

Yes it exists. It relies upon the fact that you are a beginner at utilizing beginner's luck. You only get one try. Since you've used yours, you should become a figure skater.

No you'r a natural, anything that comes easy to you makes you a natural. Try other things and if they come easy to you you are a natural and if not and you practice and coordinate than you are still a natural and if you can't do it it is not for you

I don't think beginners luck is real... my 1st time at the casino everyone said i would win big cause it was my 1st time... yeah right! i lost big is more like it! I think you just found your talent! Keep it up sounds like you could be great!

i think it does because i've seen kids that just beggin to do things that i've done for a while and they start doing a good job. but then after a while they do it really bad so i think it does but who knows maybe it doesnt

Sometimes begginners luck exsits, but to me ,in ur point i think u have a talent for it^^, keep on learning.
