i guess ppl don't consider bowling as a sport becuz it doesn't consume as much energy as other "real" sports do... but to me, bowling IS a sport. sometimes it makes me panth! haha.. if they consider shooting pool, or poker is a sport, i don't see why they hav to exclude bowling. it just takes as much skill, focus, endurance, as other sports!

I love to bowl. I practically grew up in a bowling alley. I think many people do not think bowling is a realy sport because, one, it's indoors, and two, you don't have to have this pumped, physical physique to participate. Bowling is a tough sport though. There's a lot of skill involved. So many people think it's just about throwing a ball down a lane. They know nothing of reading oil patterns and adjusting to lane conditions.

I like bowling and I used to bowl in a league. A lot of people just don't respect the skill that is needed to be a good bowler.

Ya bowling if fun you have fun yet it is a competition, i don't see why its not a sport it is athletic
