I am going to say the Detroit Red Wings, simply because they have won 9 in a row, five of which have been road games in tough cities.

Is there a reason why in the NHL many goalies numbers are in the 30's? Or is it just coincidence?

(You had to be at the game)

Mine was during Game 2 of the San Jose/Edmonton playoff series two years ago. The Sharks were down 5 on 3 and two of their three broke their sticks. They still managed to kill the penalty. It was awesome when the entire crown booed Pronger every time he touched the puck.

Why do people think Roenick is/will be such a great TV commentator? I have nothing against his play, but when I was able to hear him on TV, I thought he was one of the most annoying and uninteresting commentators in hockey. Do we have to listen to players like this through an entire game just because they made a few controversial comments throughout their carreer?

"They cheated" (referring to the winning team) is a classic.

I love this vicious cycle:
- They've been at home and need to go on a roadtrip.
- They're on the road and tired.
- They just returned from their roadtrip and are tired.

Surely the world must be coming to an end because the Leafs not only won in Buffalo but they shut them out. Did JFJr get a whole new team in the last 48 hr? I could have sworn some Sabre fans said the Leafs were lousy. If they are, what would that make the Sabres?

I read an article a few months ago about the Red Wings lease with Joe Louis Arena is going to expire in a few years.

Has there been any news yet on if they will extend their lease or build a new arena?

Just in my opinion, Joe Louis Arena is trashy and is in a horrible location, put the new arena in Auburn Hills!!!

He puts up tremendous numbers... when healthy. We are paying this guy 6mil/year.... should we trade him and pick up another more dependable winger? I mean look at it... the boys are doing good without him.

1. Who was the 1st goalie to win the Jennings Trophy all for himself?

2. In 1934, the Blackhawks won their 1st Stanley Cup, and then their goaltender died 2 months after the season was over. Who was he and how did he die?

3. Who designed the first Chicago blackhawk jersey?

4. Half of the 1938 Blackhawk Stanley Cup Champions were _______________?

5. Chevy Chase stared in what movie wearing a Blackhawks jersey?

Anyone looking for some WC seats, here's your big chance. However, this may be the most riveting conversation of the night:

You: "Is that Ryan Miller?"
Sven: "Nah, it's just a post."
You: "Oh, sorry for getting your hopes up man."

http://wgr550.com/sabres/fullstory.php?id=2810

So, who here has bought obstructed seat tickets to something before? Is it worth it? Seriously? As far as this game goes, I think it'd be just the same if I sat at the end of my driveway in an anorak staring at a telephone pole with the radio full blast, than sitting at the game with an "obstructed view". IN FACT, it would probably be better. I wouldn't have to sit next to the obnoxious, underage drunk with the "Peters" jersey.

Crosby: 1st yr: 102 pts/2nd yr:120 pts/ 3rd year: 23 pts and counting...
Gretzky: 1st yr: 137 pts/2nd yr: 164 pts/3rd yr: 212 pts...and didn't go down to where Sid's been at until his 13th season.

Not saying that Sid won't continue to get better and better, but the longer it takes him to put up 160+ pts/season, the harder it will be to catch Gretzky.
