Come on, this man was part of the pioneering of Hockey Night in Canada back and he's only being inducted now? Again, this is one of those "I could've sworn this should've happened earlier" things. Actually, now that I think about it, this is a "I could've sworn this should've happened AGES ago" things.

So what's the dilly-o? Why now and not earlier?

Top Ten Defensive forwards in the Nhl today ?

Well you know what they say about a guy with a big net? He must have a big afro, must be a fisherman, or he must be a goalie. I know, I know, keep my day job.

Boston Globe wrote a story called "Enlarging nets is no solution to shrinking scoring". Yet, of course Yahoo spread the rumor, as "NHL answer to scoring drop could be bigger nets"
Beside to point, yet funny how different those two titles are, yet one is meant to be a summary of the other.

Any-who, what do you guys think.....keep the nets the same?....make them bigger.......make them smaller?

The Habs and the Leafs are in my top 5 most beloved teams. So to commemorate tonight’s game, here are some Habs questions. I have already done the Habs questions.

1.) The first NHL All Stars Game benefited which Leafs player?

2.) What Toronto Maple Leaf player scored the infamous Stanley Cup winning goal against the Montreal Canadians in 1951, then died in a plane crash a few months later?

3.) Where did Toronto Maple Leafs forward Darcy Tucker play his junior hockey?

4.) What NHL Trophy has the Maple Leaf Gardens on it?

The Habs and the Leafs are in my top 5 most beloved teams. So to commemorate tonight’s game, here are some Habs questions. I will get to the Leafs later.

1.) Who is the only NHL Player who won the Conn Smyte before winning the Calder Trophy ?

2.) Which Habs players has his name misspelled the most times out of anyone on the Stanley Cup?

3.) Which player has won the Stanley Cup more than any other player? I found this one surprising.

4.) An Orange creature named Youppi is the new mascot for the Habs. Youppi at one time was another team’s mascot. What team did Youppi cheer for before Les Canadiens?

Over the past month many of you have sent me emails. Earlier this morning, I responded to a good dozen of them............and ALL bounced back.

If all of you could send me an email address (esp. Wings Fan) that I could use outside of Answers, I would appreciate it.

Now, for some easy Hockey Questions
1. Which regular contributer trumpets Patrick Roy as his favourite goalie
2. Which Nova Scotia, Canada native is the leader in best answers
3. Which woman is a HUGE Pens fan
4. Who's PuckDat's true competition in humor?
5. Who is the most awesome responder
6. Who's the equipment expert

The first person to get all 6 questions correct will get 10 points

And ideally, I will get to re-send my emails.

I'm doing a Media Day with the Chicago wolves and I know NOTHING about hockey. The coaches/players that will be there to interview are:

John Anderson -- Head Coach
Wendell Young -- Assistant Coach
#8 Joel Kwiatkowski
#9 Jesse Schultz
#18 Alexandre Giroux
#40 Fred Brathwaite

If anyone could give me some ideas on questions to ask hockey players, or even specific questions to ask these coaches/players, that'd be great.

Ah, vendettas. In the NHL, there have been more squabbles and pissing matches that would make network television executives salivate more than necessary. To that end, over the long history of the National Hockey League, which player/coach/executive suffered the biggest screw job as a result of a squabble?

In a strange hockey season at this point (yep, a quarter has been whittled away), The Sporting News' pick to win Lord Stanley's Cup is mired in mediocrity. At 7-9-1, the Penguins are off to a slow start (when compared against expectations). Should we as hockey fans be alarmed? Honestly, this was to be expected, but that is one man's opinion. Thoughts?

I am from a small town in canada, and I am a very skilled hockey player. Last year I recorded around 35 goals and 27 assists in 30 games. I am wondering if I should get an agent even if I am only 13 years old. My dream is to go to Harvard, does anyone know how to get to the next level? Should I get an Agent?
