One of those what ifs. Bobby had knee surgery in the off season after the Bruins won the cup or he most definitely would have played and if he had I'm pretty sure the series would not have been as close.
Bobby did play in the 1976 Canada Cup where he was named tournament MVP and even though he was not the smooth flowing skater he had been in his younger years, he still was by far the best player in that tournament.

Orr was originally named to the team, but a knee injury he had suffered the previous seasdon wasn;y fully healed, and Sinden felkt that the all-stars could win without Orr and the Bruins could not

he hand an iinjury to his knees..he had knee troubl throut hi whole career..other wise he wouild be on of the top over all scores still
