When you get to the game.. purchase a program there's usually some rules in there. Otherwise....

I'm guessing there's no time for you to purchase say a book like Hockey for Dummies or the idiots guide to hockey.. There's also one for the ladies called the 'Girlfriend's guide to hockey'

I'm sure you will find something on Citizen.com Wikpedia or wiki.com

How about buying one of those little NHL rules books. Or better yet take a friend with you who knows the game and let them explain it to you. My brother took me to a Kings game years ago but the only thing I remembered was the fights and blood on the ice. Now I'm a die hard Red Wings fan and have learned a lot by watching games on Fox Sports. They've done a decent job over the last few years, especially since the lockout of explain the rules and changes. Hope you have fun at the game.
Go Wings!!!

It's where these guys that have played hockey all of their lives decide to play on a pro team, that pays them and takes them to different cities where they play other players just like them. And then people watch them play. Theres more to it though...they need to score goals

God, why didnt you just look it up instead of wasting five points on asking. Hockey is such a complex game that no one is going to waste their time explaining everything. Just saying...

Hockey is so plenty extra stable than soccer. you have gamers in hockey going as much as 40. they are consantly moving and hitting. The goalie has to have lightning rapid reflexes and the group believe is plenty extra advantageous. like the between the legs pass from zetturburg to datsyuk while the wings performed the celebs

Because the hunt and intertribal warfare have been removed from the daily experience of men, they need sports of all types to fill the void and give them the feeling of adrenaline. Pro Hockey is one of the best sports to fill this need, as it is dynamic and actual fighting is expected.

Main thing is this:

Red light and no horn=BAD..

Red light and horn= GOOD...

There are enough variables in the game to screw up a chinese fire drill... just take these first two and let the game come around.. You'll catch on...
