Do you think if Dominik Hasek started playing sooner after he was drafted, instead of waiting 7 years, do you think he would lead the NHL in wins among all goalies? Would he be considered the best ever to play?

What's the deal? Is it a joke? Does he do it on purpose because he knows it looks absolutely ridiculous and he's messing with everybody? Or does he seriously look in the mirror and thinks that looks good?

Someone asked a question earlier today (Jeff, it's your favourite person) about the Loonie versus the USD. Basically, the answer was the current CBA wouldn't allow players' contracts in CAD. Now, hypothetically, if the CBA was to end today, can the players have contracts in CAD until the next CBA? At least on the offer table?

I know this would cause all sorts of confusion once a certain monkey is out (don't want to get politics in here) and the USD would be dominant again. But, again, hypothetically speaking.

Dang, seems like the Sharks chemistry went kaput as soon as Roenick joined the team!

Jacques Plante or Dominik Hasek. Plante has won the Vezina the most, but Hasek has a more complicated playing field.

Which one would you consider to be a better goalie? Why?

This year seems to show a lot of good goaltenders in the NHL. Seems that skill is what these guys have, not just big pads. Should something else be done to increase scoring, or should we be celebrating the great skills of these masked men?

What would happen if the Leafs signed Tavares and then lent him to Russian club? Tavares could then end up with more money than the max NHL rookie pay and do an end run on the draft.

I realize Marty wasn't happy with his playing time, but since moving to Philly he's done wonders for this team, and he also helped pull in Briere.
If I were the coach of Buffalo, I would have tried my hardest to keep Biron.
What do you think about this?
Smart or stupid?

Pascal Leclaire got his 5th shutout of the year. It's not like he's not facing a ton of shots...as much as a wings goalie, which isn't a lot, but even Ozzie and Hasek let in (well in haseks case--2 or 3) for ozzie--1 or 2 a game. What would you credit to his success?
