Dang, seems like the Sharks chemistry went kaput as soon as Roenick joined the team!

JR has surprised the hell out of me. He's obviously checked his ego at the door and focused on the little things that make you good. And he's one goal away from 500. I will be the first to admit I laughed when they signed him and he has put it out there. He isn't the dazzling guy he once was but he has to be a force in the dressingroon with all his experience.

Both Doug and Ron Wilson credit Roenick for making the team better. They are ahead of their pace for the last two years, and Nabokov is doing better than at the same point last year as well.

Overall, I think J.R. is doing a great job in San Jose and the team will be a team to beat once the playoffs start in April. There is no replacement for veteran leadership and between Roenick and Ozolinsh, San Jose now has a ton.

Uhmm-the Sharks seem fine to me(=
They're just not consistent, you can't put the blame on just one player. Roenick has contributed his share of goals, you can give him that.

Consistency is key, especially since this month all the teams they're playing are in the same division! :O

I think Roenick is doing a great job. He's not the fastest guy any more, but I see him setting up plays and being in the right position to score many times a game. San Jose's crappy start is due to other factors. Besides, he's miles and miles above that bane to hockey, Patrick Rissmiller.

don't like him, but I think the sharks are a good fit for him. He's a good player, and hopefully he continues to be as I can't stand to see him as a hockey commentator. He was truly one of the worst and I don't know why so many people think so highly of him in this position.

Are you kidding? In addition to contributing on ice, the guy's helping keep the room loose while diverting media scrutiny from the likes of Patrick Marleau.

What more can you ask for?

He has actually done pretty well since he's been with the Sharks....he did NOTHING for the Kings and he is now out there scoring...makes me ticked off but what can I do about it? Same thing with Conroy...he played like crap for the Kings but send him back to the Flammers and he's all good again!

JR didnt screw anything up. One guy didnt screw them up as bad as they are screwed up now. Naw, they just need more consistency, that's all. Anyways, if Joe says hes a good addition, hes a good addition. Hes been the kind of guy who lifts their spirits when things get rough. I know that a lot of people don't like him, but he's doing well in SJ.

I've heard the players love Roenick. Joe Thornton considers him a great teacher.

This time last year, the Sharks had 4 wins...............so I think they are doing MUCH better than last year.

Well Joe seems happy to have him. And from what I understand he was brought in to be like a mentor to the younger guys.........What i am worried about is Clowe being gone......
