I'm not a hockey fan at all but I wanna get tickets for my dad to see his fave team play another.

I don't know how to word this in "hockey" speak :P

Uhm. The game I want to get tickets for is Vancouver Cannucks playing anyone in Toronto or a place near Toronto.

Sometimes my "best" work comes from a lack of sleep and food. I have developed a marketing/charitable endeavor that could be a win-win for everyone involved! How about a "Women Of Yahoo! Answers Hockey" calendar? We could have the likes of Erica, Jenni M, Catherine Earnshaw, Kimmy, Red Pepper Goddess, Yellow Pepper Goddess, Ice Woman, Hockey Gal, and some of the other women who contribute here pose in their favorite hockey team's jersey. Proceeds from the sales of the calendars will go towards bringing professional hockey back to cities such as Toronto and Boston, or much-needed support for certain teams who made the playoffs last season and are crapping their chances this year! How about it?

For one day Al Arbour not only celebrated what is good in hockey, he also won one for a much-maligned class of world citizens: the senior kind. If well in mind and moderately decent in body, can a senior citizen coach full-time in today's NHL? Something like the NBA's Hubie Brown, or baseball's Frank Robinson, Felipe Alou, or Jack McKeon?

Phoenix over Winnipeg? Eliminating the Redline? Refusing to even suggest enlarging rinks to enhance play? Trading ESPN for Outdoor Life (Vs.)? Shootouts every night? Killing an entire season? Why is such a man commissioner?

The Anaheim Ducks currently lead the NHL in home attendance percentage (dont ask me how they figure the percent, I dont know!)

My point: Last year, they finished 17th.
The year before that? 20th

How long will this last until the bangwagoners jump ship and their attendance returns to normal?
