For Expansion NO, For Moving a Team YES it will be the Nashville Predators, they will move to Kansas City Next Season, so will the NBA's Seattle Sonics they will move to Oklahoma City next year the owner file for Relocation before 03/01/2008.

The sad answer is yes to both
Las Vegas and Jerry Bruckheimer will join the league via expansion as that is what the owners want (George Gillette and Harley Hitchkiss believe that Bruckheimer is the key to TV money).
Kansas City will get a team, either Nashville after del Baggio's partners realize the daunting task ahead of them, or an expansion franchise granted to del Baggio after the Nashville deal succeeds.
If the Nashville Predators move to Kansas City, look for Portland Oregon to get the second expansion team. Paul Allen has $25B burning a hole in his pocket

Yes, unfortunately both. I see teams in KC and Las Vegas as expansions and a couple of teams moving. Nashville for sure and I am not yet to sure what the other will be but there will be another.

No to expansion - and yes to a team moving.
The NHL has to get a tv contract instead of putting so much of the financial emphasis on the gate before they can even think of expansion.
