Put a garbage can at each side of deep end with a guy in scuba gear and all the players wear mask/fins/&snorkels. Like when a Canuck hooks a Flame and a Flame has possesion. He skates around, Kipper comes out of the net and they have an extra man on. Doesn't matter that the nets empty, unless the Flames shoot at their own net, Canucks can't score because as soon as they touch the puck, the ref blows the whistle. So, if the Flames end up scoring, is it a PPG? Since they do have the man advantage. And if it isnt a PPG, does their +/- get affected at all? I guess the same could be asked regardless of a delayed call, and lets say its the last minute and a team pulls their goalie for an extra man. Is the +/- affected??

We all know Forsberg has skills. But the injuries have kept him from showing his true colors for quite awhile. When...and if he returns...will he put up big numbers? I need answers. With detail.

It doesn't seem to be that big deal to me. I'm sure there have been any number of donnybrooks in the Halifax Forum over the years. So why is this one national news?

We already have the AHL Admirals, and we love them. Kansas City doesn't need a team, they are connected to St. Louis, it's pretty much the same city. Sure Chicago is close, but still over 80 miles! I say they should come home.

They are starting out as one of the top teams in the west. They did pick up a couple guys in the offseason but nothing major. Ken Hitchcock is a great defensive minded coach (CBJ is #1 in penalty kill and #1 in Goals allowed in the west) and after having a full offseason to get his system in, is this team for real?

Apparently, the Toranto Maple Leafs has been attempting to get Tavares signed to its AHL team. Does anyone think they Leafs have a realistic chance at signing him this way? Will they suck enough to get him in the 2009 draft?

I've been a huge fan of hockey for years and still don't understand why the ratings are bad? why Nike stopped sponsoring the NHL? Why ESPN refuses to play hockey games on their channel? Don't get me wrong Im a fan of all sports and have watched every sport and i have to say Hockey beats basketball, and baseball but is still ranked below them. What can the NHL do to make their ratings higher? I feel like their not doing anything and just accepting the fact that they will always be after baseball, basketball, and football.

Personally i think they should get rid of the pointless teams that are in the South just embarrassing the name of Hockey like the Panthers. And throw them in the North where Hockey is actually considered a sport. What do they need another team in Florida for?
Any suggestions on what the NHL should do?

I like Ryan Miller a lot. I can't help it. It's unavoidable since he won the Hobey while at MSU. He could have a GAA of one hundred and I would still like him. It's sad really. Anyway, I've only caught 2 Buffalo games this season. The one against the Leafs when Thibault was in net, and Miller's shutout. So, since I haven't really been keeping track of the Sabres, I haven't noticed whether Miller has been playing well or just plain shitty. Yesterday, my friend who is a die-hard Sabres fan said to me: "I hope Ryan Miller drowns in a pool of his own vomit." So I decided to investigate the cause of his hostility and discovered that Miller's stats this season are indeed dismal. This friend and I had a long conversation last season after Biron was traded and we predicted Miller's level of play would drop this year. I was just wondering what Sabres fans thought of Miller this season. Do you think he's likely improve? Does he deserve to drown in a pool of his own vomit?

Since of you are a Die Hard Aves fan and i am a Die Hard Wings fan i have a little fun loving bet for you ( of coarse it will be a code of honar type bet since we cannot cannot prove it) but here is the bet. for Each of the 4 Wings-Aves games We have a bet, If the Red Wings win you must wear a Kris Draper Jersey for a day. But... if the Aves win I will Wear a Claude Lemieux Jersey ( i already have one for other similar bets) like i said we have to take ones word for it but i think it would be a good bet.

Someone gave me two tickets to Blackhawks vs the Stars game Jan 9 2008. Priced $75 each the seats are in section 111 row 10 which appear to be good seats. I am not really a Hockey fan and I don’t think I will go, so I am thinking of selling them. How much will I get if I waited 2 months to sell them?

OK so I officially have broken all ties with MLSE. I am tired of being bullied around by a bunch of money hungry old men. It was a roller coaster ride for the last 12 or so years and now I am done with the whole shebang. I have taken my name off the season ticket waiting list and I donated ALL of my Leafs gear to the Salvation Army. I even called and cancelled Leafs TV this afternoon from my cable company. It is awfully liberating. SO now I have a dilemma. Sens or Habs? I like the Sens because it is the other team in my province. I also like the Habs because I LOVE the Hamilton Bulldogs. So who shall I jump to? I am not a bandwagon type of guy so its not like I am asking about the Sens because they are doing well. Who should I choose?

In the NHL Central Scouting list that LITY provided in an earlier question, Hasek was ranked the #18 overall player and the #2 goalie in the NHL (behind Brodeur). This list is compiled using the votes of 30 NHL GMs and 277 scouts. It is updated BI-MONTHLY, and this is the latest list (9 days ago). Am I the only one that thinks Hasek ISN'T the 2nd best goalie in the NHL?

Let me say that I like Hasek, I probably like him more than a lot of Wings fans like him. I think he is probably the 3rd best goalie EVER. But is he the 2nd best goalie today? Of course not.

Some people may even argue that he isn't even the best goalie on the team. Osgood seems to be playing much better. So, why, I ask, is it that the NHL GMs and professionals that work for the NHL voted Dominik Hasek as the #2 goalie in the NHL? Can anyone give me a reason why Hasek is better than Luongo? Turco? Lundqvist? Leclaire??? It makes me wonder about the hockey IQ of the NHL GMs. (The whole list is topsy-turvy, btw)
